Tom is a nature-based solutions expert, with a decade’s experience in carbon credit generation and tropical socio-ecological systems. He has worked at Indonesia’s first ecosystem restoration concession (Harapan Rainforest), for Europe’s largest conservation NGO (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) and is now based at the University of Cambridge Conservation Research Institute. Tom is driven to understand what works to protect forests and address the climate crisis. He has honed a talent for remote sensing, machine learning and econometrics and is a recent graduate of the Cambridge, Judge Business School Enterprise Tech STAR programme in entrepreneurship.
