PhD student and Harding Scholar Amelia Holcomb is speaking at the SilviLaser conference at UCL. She will be sharing her work measuring small-scale tropical forest disturbance with GEDI remote sensing: a collaboration with 4C directors Prof Keshav and Prof David Coomes.

About Silvilaser

Silvilaser 2023 will bring together academics, industry and government experts to discuss cutting edge technology and current science from the laser scanning and forest communities. Themes for the conference will cover all aspects of the use of laser scanning in a forest context; from terrestrial, mobile, UAV, airborne and spaceborne LiDAR instruments.

To be held at University College London campus from 6-8th September, 2023, the conference will have keynotes, parallel sessions, workshops, informal sessions and an excursion. Silvilaser has been running as a biannual conference for over two decades and is well attended and respected by academics and industry professionals alike.
